Without going into tone polarity, "online advertising"'s share of voice, i.e. social media conversation volume, seems to be losing a bit of traction, though. Measuring online sentiment turned out to be a pretty good proxy predictor when comparing Facebook versus Myspace or Obama versus Clinton long before a clear winner was apparent in traffic measurements and more formal opinion pools.
